Born in on 23 May 1997 to a Gambian father Gus Gomez and English mother Linda Gomez, his full name Joseph Dave Gomez, began his football career with Charlton Athletic, an English club which competes in EFL (Second-tier English league). Gomez reached Charlton Athletic’s first team at age 17, he played one full senior season with the club before joined Liverpool F.C in 2015.
Gomez joined Liverpool on 20 June 2015, he signed a five-year contract with the club, under Jorgen Klopp (Liverpool Manager), Gomez mostly plays as first-team defenders beside Dejan Lovren and Joël Matip. With Liverpool Gomez have won League Champion trophy.
At the International level, Jomez has been represented England for England under-16 National Team, under-17 and under-19 levels.
