His full name Keith Fitzgerald Thurman Jr, Son of Keith Thurman, Sr. and Debra Thorsen, Born November 23, 1988, in Clearwater, Florida, United States. Thurman Jr begins his boxing career in 1997, trained by Benjamin Getty who worked with Sugar Ray Leonard, he won 6 National Championships including the 2006 PAL National Championships, In 2007 Olympic Trials and won the Silver Medal.
Thurman Jr star his Professional boxing career when he was 18 years old in the middleweight boxing class, his first match against Kensky Rodney at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida, He won the fight with on 1st-round after KO (knockout) his opponent Kensky Rodney.
