Marco Reus Biography
Son of Thomas Reus and Manuela Reus. Marco Reus was Born in Dortmund on 31 May 1989 and raised in Dortmund too, Reus first club is SV Dortmund, he joined the youth ranks of Borussia Dortmund in 1996. Reus Profesional career began with Borussia Mönchengladbach. On 25 May 2009, he signed 4 years contract with the club, for the club he becomes top goal scores.
With the Mönchengladbach he doesn’t win any major trophy but his performance was impressive, his former club Borussia Dortmund want him back to them, and that happened he return to Dortmund on 4 January 2012 and signed a five years contract. Today, Reus as an attacking midfielder plays his role very well both for the German National Team and Borussia Dortmund. Reus is currently serving as Dortmund’s captain.
International Career
Marco joined German Under 21 on 11 August 2009, his first international appearance against Turkey U21 National Team in a friendly match that he won 2-1. In 2014 Reus has established himself as a regular member of German Senior Team, he represented german in the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup and still part of the German main squad until now.
